It's a great thing that you do there Peter; certainly an asset for a collector to be able to see more and also get a better looking image, especially so with a damaged postcard as many are. When I used to send out cards on approval I occasionally had the unwanted ones returned in inadequate packaging, which would come open disgorging some or all of the contents into the postal system. There are a number of sellers online who appear to be doing rather well selling scanned copies of postcards, I wonder who buys these?

As a collector, I much prefer the real thing... woudln't you?

Saw some lovely overseas postcards today in an antique arcade. All were reduced to 50p each because they all had their stamps removed, and not very well - the stamp was ruined, and so was the postcard! urggggggggghhh!! - tragic!
