Frith Numbering

Post by Exiled Mancunian » Wed Sep 11, 2019 5:45 pm

Hello all,

I am a fairly new postcard collector and I have a lot to learn about different publishers and numbering systems.

I recently purchased a Frith postcard of 'Preston Art Gallery and Sessions House'. There is no date on the postcard and it has not been postally used so it is difficult to date it. However on the back it does state 'F. Frith & Co. Ltd., Reigate, No. 65586. Is it possible to date the card from this number?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Kind regards,

Chris (Exiled Mancunian)
