As a newbie, please forgive me if this is a topic covered regularly. During a house clearance for a relative, we have found a small collection of vintage postcards featuring views of French towns, housed in a period cigarette tin. They seem to relate to a relative's service in the Second World War. I've tried to attach a photo to help, but am not allowed to(?). Two questions, if I may pick your brains. Obviously - Have they any value? Secondly, some of the cards have cryptic messages/addresses signed with French girls' names. Indeed one has a complete name and address - (would be fascinating to post it?) Does this add to or detract from their value?
Thanks to MichaelDay, I can now post a picture to give you some idea of what I am talking about! Please click on this Dropbox link: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/302 ... G_3208.jpg
