McGill Signatures

Post by johnno42000 » Sat Oct 22, 2016 1:22 pm

Hi,

I have started taking an interest in collecting postcards. Some make me laugh, some are very poignant and most bring back memories.

I recently purchased an album which had a card in it of a moustache on it and the wording was 'I found this last night, is it yours?' It is signed D.McG. (there is dot under the c as well). I have only seen Donald McGill's signature as a full signature (not that I've seen many :-) ).

Would this be his signature and would anyone have an idea of the date?

Thanks

John

It could be his signature, I think it is possible. However, could you attach a photo of this postcard? It would be far easier to evaluate the date and the signature. :)
