So how do collectors get started with Postcard Collecting, I wonder? Will the younger generation ever take it up, I also wonder?
An interest in local history led me naturally into postcards... how did you start?

~ send it on a Postcard please ~

I used to collect stamps and in 1996 went to a small fair that included a couple of card dealers. I idly flicked though the "Wiltshire" cards of one dealer and was intrigued by several military cards and bought a couple - my very first one showed a railway line going past the guardhouse in Codford Camp. (I'd been interested in the military presence in Wiltshire since my school-days.)
