Dating postcards

Post by libqna »

How can I find out the date of a postcard?

I've got a postcard of Paul Church (Penzance area of Cornwall) Details on the card include 'Peacock Series' SA 134.

Thanks for any advice

I have some of the Peacock Series postcards in my collection, and all those that are postmarked are from between 1900 and 1910.

Thanks Andrew,

Thanks for the advice. Your date seems about right. There are a group of children in the picture and their clothes would probably fit the period c1900-1910

Thanks again
Neil
