I have a post card of the white house ,dating back in 1939. It is cancelled and did not come out into circulation. it is in perfectly good condition.whoever can help me out with its price , since i am willing to sell it, can get in touch with me through email.

I assume that you mean the White House that is the US President's official residence? This isn't my area of knowledge, but tens of thousands of postcards of the White House - surely one of the most popular tourist attractions in the States - must exist, and I'm sorry to say that your card is unlikely to be worth anything.

On a general note about popular tourist cards, some people do specialise in them, in some cases to record changes in the scene. One person built up a fine collection of PCs of various periods of Cockington, a "chocolate-box" village in Devon, England, with its thatched forge. But it had very little financial value because there are so many cards of the village.

Stonehenge is another very popular tourist attraction, which has had thousands of cards published of it. Sometimes I wince at working my way through boxes of Wiltshire cards because so many feature the ancient monument (and I usually bless the dealers who elastic-band their Stonehenge cards together). But there are early cards showing some of the stones propped up, the custodian's cottage, ceremonies and even giving a glimpse of the horrendous airfield that was built 600 yards away on the skyline in 1917.
