This is not one of my own Postcards but wanted to share and ask a question?

The Postcard is a Vintage 1940s Linen Postcard showing American GIs Shooting Dice.

Little bargain at $3.50 inclusive of shipping within the United States.

Not being American, I have seen this game in both films and the old 'Sargent Bilko' TV Series, but I have no idea what the game is, the rules, or how it is played.

Would someone from America care to explain?
