According to information found on the internet, Tuck & Son published postcards of oil paintings, still lifes, by the artist Fritz Hildebrandt. As I cannot find any such original paintings, I wonder if maybe these were only made on commission by Tuck and that the originals were not for sale, but remained the property of Tuck & Son.
According to a friend, who collects Kathe Kruse dolls and the subsequent post cards, Fritz Hildebrand also painted these, and other, dolls.
Thanks for any help and information.
