Hi everyone
I'm a big fan of donkeys and I'm looking for interesting postcards with donkeys in them. They must be from around 1900 to 1920 but I'm not too fussed as long as they are interesting!
I look forward to hearing from anyone who can help me build my collection.
Regards,
Jelly

Hello Jelly,
I used to have a lot of Donkey Postcards listed - must sort some more out as most have steadily sold...
Couple of cards I have a available.... but nothing really special.
One comic...... postmarked date of 1903
And the standard but maybe not so interesting beach donkeys....... postmarked date 1913

I've got both of these already but thank you Deanosaur!
I love the bottom one - the same donkeys get superimposed against many piers!

Cards from Clovelly in Devon usually have a donkey on them.

Hello - I have about 15 donk donks listed on ebay at the minute- some end Tuesday - look at this one and then you can search under donkey for the rest when you look at my other listings. I could not resist a nice donkey card when I was looking for Horses.
I must have at least 20-50 more I think but going through listing is quite a slow process. I am clearing out my horse collection - about another 6k to go!

Hello Jelly ... I've just turned out a brilliant PC of Donkeys, with children & carts entitled 'The Sands, West Kirby', & postmarked 1910. It was sent to my granny when she lived in Manchester for a year after she got married. Let me know if you are interested.
