Hi, I am new to post card collecting. I have started collecting them and have many linen postcards. It may sound silly, but what I am trying to do is figure out what makes a postcard "vintage" and are all linen postcards "vintage" ? I am trying to label some of the postcards on my site where I display collected ones and I do not want to label them wrong.

Re: Vintage and Linen
Linens are very much a US type card rather than UK, so I'm not totally familiar with the dates.
People seem to use 'Vintage' for all sorts of ages, I guess it depends how old you are?
I would certainly use it for very early cards pre WW1 and certainly pre 1930's.
a few cards you've got described as vintage on your site (the John Hinde, London cards) would actually be classed as 'Moderns' as they are probably 1970's .
Hope this helps
