My friend and I are trying to gather information on one of the Knight Brothers postcards. From what I have read they usually created a series around certain plots. This particular post card focuses on horses and it’s titled Horses at Large: After the Refresher. Unfortunately the post offices from R...

Re: Help needed 21 thousand postcards of uk castles

Wow! That must be some collection! Selling at an specialised auction house would be one route to sell, but there are fees involved. Alternately contact a dealer near you... there are several PTA dealers who may be able to help - check them out here: https://postcard.co.uk/dealers_north_east.php Best...

Re: Davidson's Real Photographic Series

I am in possession of four postcards relating to Culloden Moor and wondered if there was any value to them and/or if someone might be interested. Many thanks, Bob. Hello Bob - well, these are quite common. Here's a Davidson's one I see for sale on eBid for example: https://www.ebid.net/uk/for-sale/...

Re: Help?

It is difficult to assess without seeing the Album and the Post Cards within. From your description, they appear to be Davidson's series' of song cards which they produced in large numbers alongside Bamforth, a similar publisher of Post Cards from c.1902 onward. They would have been in sets of three...

Re: Advice needed re vintage family postcards

I have them all organised in pc covers and by date, then by who sent to whom and in...
