when i asked ebay for their advice to pass on to the family they did say they wanted the death certificate number before they would release the account, i suppose there are fraudsters who could hijack an account, but losing a member of the family suddenly and unexpectedly is always going to be traum...

I tried to have a go at this myself this afternoon, using Word i managed to knock up an address/message panel on one side and a photo on the face, the cards i chose are 3.5 x 5.5 " but the card is too flimsy. May try the glossy 6x4 cards later. Inkjet printers don't like doing borderless prints...

A simple solution here - take your own folding/shooting stick type chair with you, would never be without mine, and i love hogging the stands :wink:

Hi folks - very popular subject it seems by the amount of activity on the 'bay , i collected stamps for many years before venturing into postcards - both go hand in hand, most of my collection are from the "golden age" early 1900's of places i have visited and especially the art postcards ...

Unfortunately postcards could get wet in the post, make sure you use waterproof printer ink and moisture resistant cards :wink:
