Tolworth Postcard Fair - Poor

I thought I would share this poor experience with everyone, after driving quite a few miles to get to Tolworth, I arrived around 9.15am, On entry I was asked to pay £4, as it was before 10am. I explained to the guy that the website had Two times and Two prices, and I quote from the website "All...

Re: Dealers' pencilled marks. Agh!

I'm surprised no one has thought of this idea, a white label stuck on the plastic then all the details, price codes + all other info can be written on.
Then nothing needs to be written on the card at all, the card placed in the plastic with the sticker to the back.
Problem solved. :D

Re: Lack Of Seating

As I said in my first post Tolworth was really bad, if you have ever been to the Tolworth fair you will know that the isles are big & there is loads of space, but hardly any chairs in front of the stalls especially when there is loads of room for them. Plus why should I every time I go from stal...

Lack Of Seating

After returning today from the Tolworth fair, I must have a rant about the lack of chairs for customers this is quite a big fair and loads of room yet there were hardly any chairs out for customers to sit & browse at their leisure, I also found this at Haywards Heath last month where chairs for ...

Enjoyment From Your Postcard Collection

I thought i would raise this topic, how much enjoyment does everyone get from their postcard collections. How often do you get the cards out and view them ? Is it a case where people get excited about adding a new card to their collection. Or is there anyone that has got a collection and just leaves...

Re: To eBay or not to eBay?

I find ebay a total rip off now, time you have paid your insertion fees then 10% final value fee, and then paypal fee the profit margin that is left does not warrant the time & effort involved. I would use Delcampe everytime over ebay. Ebay = :( Delcampe :D If you haven't tried Delcampe, try it ...

Re: Making My Own Postcards

I just saw an item on a new printer from Casio in Japan http://www.akihabaranews.com/en/news-18618-Casio+Announces+Two+New+Postcard+Makers+for+Japan.html No word on it in North America (Canada) but perhaps some inquiries in the UK may lead to something. 8) Cheers! That seems what I've been looking ...
