This Saturday 13th October at St Andrews Hall Norwich NR3 1AU - 35+ local and National Dealers including Charity stands - 50p entry - not to be missed, I'd say!

A great success again - well done to Mid Essex Postcard Club for putting on another good'un! - food was great as always too!

Just put a posting about the Mid-Essex Postcard Fair next Sunday and a comment that I believe the catering is the best there is at a Postcard Fair! Always a nice choice of roasts and puddings - at very reasonable prices too! Have you been to a Postcard Fair with excellent catering that beats this on...

Well, there are plenty of Modern cards on Delcampe of course + the advantage of listing on Delcampe, and other stes, is that there are no listing fees and so the cost is only borne out when you make a sale - with ebay it would cost more to start.

By the sound of it, it's not so much the wrong size - it's just that they are too modern for most dealers who prefer trading Postcards of the 'Golden Age' - the Edwardian period. I believe collectors of modern 'larger format' postcards seem to prefer subjects/themes - postcards of the 1980s period w...

anyone...? Well, any estimate is subjective - with postcards it's generally what a buyer perceives as good value to him/her - and whether they are for onward sale or not to interest a dealer. In my opinion, the two lots showing cities are the best valued items: I would estimate them at between £2/3...

...seems Delcampe has upset many of their sellers by introducing a new fixed fee (eg. in UK = £0.08 per item) on completed sales in addition to final value fees - appears they want to generate extra income to expand at the same time as clear-out low-value listings which are using up server space - h...
