Re: Dealers' pencilled marks. Agh!

I share your frustration with this though to be fair most dealers seem to use a soft pencil. Re getting the marks removed I'd be VERY cautious, practice on a card that doesn't matter. There are no perfect solutions but iIts worth taking a look at the art market. Below are two links that might help. ...

Slightly off topic & not directed at any of the above responses. There will be many notable exceptions but Its surprising that study groups and clubs fail to establish web sites for members to display and document their collections. Many club sites are fairly static in content. It's easy (& ...

Hello, I'm not sure if this helps but there is an unused copy of this postcard on delcampe at the moment ( item 69646844). To the lower left corner, obscured by the stamp on your copy, is a circular logo with the word Phot to the top and the company name A B & Co or perhaps A B & O to the ce...

Re: Best site to collect?

eBay and Delcampe remain the leaders as far as I can see for worldwide and reliable (in terms of there always being something of interest there) availability to buyers. In the USA there are quite a few other sites though most seem to be focused on their domestic market.

Never heard of ricardo.
