German postcards

Post by di louise »

Hi all,

I have inherited two volumes of black & white, as well as colour postcards, dating from 1951to the late 50's. Some have been used with the original postmark stamp and personal messages and some are also unused.

Both volumes hold approximately 200 postcards.

Would appreciate some advice on how to get them valued for insurance purposes as these were left to me by my mother and the postcards were from her side of the family.

Many thanks in advance

Kind regards

Di

Hello Di - it would be best to contact a Postcard Dealer near to where you live - they will be happy to advise you. Alternatively, visit a Postcard fair if you can - again most dealers will be happy to help if they are able to view them. A list of fairs and dealers can be found on the PTA website: http://www.postcard.co.uk/
~ send it on a Postcard please ~
