Bamforth signatures

I have been collecting comic postcards for several years and have a reasonably large collection of Bamforth cards.
I am aware that in all the information that one reads about the firm, it is always stated that there were four main artists , Tempest , A. Taylor, PW Taylor and Fitzpatrick. Then Chas and Brian Perry in the later years. On several of the earlier cards, pre brown and black triangles, I can see another artist's signature with the initials H.Y. Can anybody tell me who this was and a little history if known. Many thanks

Have you tried contacting or inquiring further from any postcard collecting societies or art archives in the UK? Who knows, there might be more in-depth information about the H.Y Wacky Flip signature and the identity of this mysterious artist!
