i recently came across this postcard in among some old family photos
im not sure if its family or not
but as soon as we see it we could see 3 of my children in the picture
ive tried searching for more info on maybe who the people are but have got no where
my dads family were from somerset and there is what looks like christopher crewkerne on the bottom right of the photo
as far as im aware dad was an only child
any help or info would be great
I'm not sure how much help this is, but it's a start.
The photographer was a "Frederick George Christopher" (Christopher was the surname) and he had premises at Abbey Street in Crewkerne, Somerset. The 1914 Kelly's directory of Somerset lists the photography business. The 1901 census has him aged 40, same address, profession photographer.
There are some references to the photographer on genealogy forums etc.
Crewkerne has a public library (search google for contact details). If you get in touch with them they might be able to point you towards other information sources.
