Over thirty years ago I started collecting horsecards, in Holland. I think they are around 1500 different cards, mainly from Holland, Germany, Switzerland and about 100 or 200 originating from the UK. There are many high quality and very beautiful cards among them, which will please any horse-lover or card-collector. There are also two- to threehundred 'doubles'.
Though I love my collection very, very much, but truth is, the cards are just sitting in drawers since twenty years. So I'm thinking to sell the collection, preferably as a whole or in two to four parts. The money would also be very welcome, after having moved recently.
On ebay I'm watching separate cards being sold for 0.99, but that would be too much hassle and I would be sad to see the collection being that much split up.
Does someone have advice for me how to go about it and what sort of price I may hope for? Could it even be expected that there will be anyone interested in such a large collection? Or was this just a 'girls dream', but with little or no monetary value?
Thanking you in advance for any help!

I'm sorry if my questions are 'foolish' or very basic, but I've only ever collected as an individual (because of being very young at that time) and never have been in contact with other collectors.
