Gordons untimely passing late in 2015, came as a shock to friends and family. As mentioned in another thread here, he was considered the 'guru' of Charles Martin cards, I would add to that many more subjects. His collection is for sale by auction at Sheffield Auction Gallery on June 3rd. A full illustrated catalogue is online now, that also includes his Swiss stamp collection - 374 lots in total, with postcards starting at lot 100. It will be live on the internet bidding through the saleroom.com , viewing all day Tuesday 2nd and 8.30 until 10am on the day of sale. Private viewing is available by appointment. Commission bids, and telephones are also available, as are extra photographs/ condition reports.

Any queries -

Just a correction, viewing is all day Thursday 2nd June, not Tuesday, and on the morning of the sale

Thankyou Steve, yes, a very succesful day, many thanks to those who attended both in person, on line, and on commission. Just over £42,000 hammer price, the vast majority of that being the 274 postcard lots.
