Hi all,
If I understand correctly, divided back cards were introduced in Britain during 1902/3.
Does anyone know how long undivided back cards survived for after this?
I have an undivided back card that was posted in 1909 and wondered whether at this much later stage whether postcard vendors would simply be still selling off older stock and if so, perhaps at reduced prices after the new design cards came about.
Any info appreciated.
Best regards,
Matt.

Re: Undivided back and Divided back cards
It is certainly the case that undivided back postcards continued to be used for many years after 1902 when the regulations in Britain changed.
Where they sold off at a lesser price? - maybe, but would they then have such late posting dates?
Be interested to know what the most recent posting of an undivided postcard is... any advance on 1909?
