Publishing Postcards

Can anyone tell me, the phrase publishing postcards is that the same as having postcards printed.
IE. if i have a quantity of postcards printed of a certain subject then offer them for sale does this class as me having published postcards ? :?

'Publishing' postcards may be regarded as being the same as having postcards 'printed'.

If you arrange to have some postcards printed, you can state that you have had them 'published', although you, of course, will not be the actual 'publisher' (or 'printer') of them.

..that's correct. If you have the cards printed by a printer and you then sell them you are the publisher.

ie. the person that organises / prepares the material for public distribution.
