Hi all

Please bear with me as I am new to the world of postcard purchasing.

I am urgently searching for an original postcard of the WW1 War Memorial Plaque panels which are in East London Cemetery in Plaistow. At the time of the plaque panels unveiling ceremony original memorial postcards were produced.

Due to weathering, the plaque panels are completely worn so the inscriptions are no longer visible. The War Memorial Plaque was created by the church and installed on the outside of the church wall within East London Cemetery in Plaistow. I have contacted Commonwealth War Graves Commission but they have no original records of the War Memorial Plaque or inscriptions nor do East London Cemetery staff. Myself, other family history researchers and East London Cemetery staff in Plaistow, Essex are trying to locate one of the postcards so that we can have the War Memorial Plaque panels re-inscribed to commemorate and honour our fallen WW1 ancestors.

Thank you.
