Can anyone please tell me how many postcards are in the series of Gale & Polden Regiment Regimental Badges I have 53 currently The numbers run from 1611 - 1719. I am issing 3 and nt sure if the numbers were sequential
I believe they were first printed in 1909.

These were produced in that number range and seem to be in no particular order. They did cover, however, all the 70 regiments of Infantry, 31 regiments of Cavalry , 5 of guards and the sappers , gunners and corps. So they number over 100...

One of these, The Queen's Own (Royal West Kent Regiment) was reprinted due to an error in the design.

Various articles have appeared in Picture Postcard Monthly on the History and Traditions series by G&P but I'm not sure if there has been an article about the Regimental Badges series any time.
