Hello Ray - what do you mean by thankful villages and double thankful villages?

a thankful village is a village that of all people that went to war from that village all survived and came home, there are 54 villages in England none in Scotland known , only 1 village in France, double thankful means survived both 1st and 2nd ww with no casualties , only a small amount of doubles
Example of a thankfull village Langton Herring Dorset , its quite a interesting subject, cheers, Ray
