Last week I bought an album of artist painted Christmas cards and assorted other artwork on eBay and I wonder if anybody here recognises the artist? The only information that is indicated on the cards is that the artist may have been a Pete Moody from West Lynn, Kings Lynn. There's about 40 cards in the collection and they seem to involve a good deal of drink and possibly RAF personalities - I'm thinking talented amateur, possibly an airman post WW.II. as one of the cards references Sputnik which first launched 1957. Thanks in advance for any information.

Re: An English postcard artist?
Posted this on another site and a commentator there suggested that the 1st picture may be referring to the Suez Crisis in 1956/7 when petrol was in short supply...

Re: An English postcard artist?
Could well be at the time of Suez as there's several other beer/petrol cards. I have also been posting on the West Lynn village Facebook page and stirred some memories there and hopefully something may come of that. Here's a couple of more of his cards.
